CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone—people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.
The magic is in the movements. Workouts are different every day and modified to help each athlete achieve his or her goals. CrossFit workouts can be adapted for people of any age and level of fitness.
Our FITburn classes are geared towards general physical preparedness. These sessions are less technical and focus on conditioning through high-intensity interval training sets, functional movements and plyometric movements in aerobic and anaerobic workouts. These classes are appropriate for every fitness level and it is a great supplement for the Classic CrossFit program.
Working out with a group has a lot of benefits. However, sometimes the need arises for more personal attention in your workouts.
You have a specific fitness goal that requires you to work with a coach one-on-one.
You’re working through a past injury that requires you to get some individual attention.
You know that group classes aren’t for you, but you appreciate the accountability and motivation from a personal trainer or coach.
Regardless of what you eat, if you commit to regular workouts with us, you will benefit. But by fine-tuning your nutrition you can reap all the benefits of your hard work. What you put into your body is fundamental to your health and your development as an athlete. Proper nutrition can have many benefits beyond supporting muscle growth and/or losing weight. Good nutrition can help improve your training capacity, assist recovery, reduce achiness in joints, improve your mood and energy levels and better your sleep.
At Ignify CrossFit we believe in a holistic approach to health and fitness. We have an in house registered dietitian for nutrition counseling and meal plans, as well as nutrition challenges throughout the year for those who prefer the team approach.
